Hawxby.com is the personal site of Paul Hawxby, a web developer, application architect and general techie based in Welwyn Garden City, UK.
The site is a custom creation, built using C#, ASP.Net 4, MVC 3 and SQL Server 2008. While it may seem like a reinvention of the wheel to create a site like this considering the extensive content management systems available it was a great opportunity to pick up some new skill specifically in MVC 3 Razor.
Data Access provided by Business Logic Toolkit for .NET as a result of performance testing by ORMeter.
